D2 StoreFront v1.16 released

We are pleased to announce that D2 StoreFront v1.16 is now available for download for retail/source version users. Changes in this release are:

- Added Sitemap functionality. Application now automatically generates a Sitemap in Sitemap Protocol 0.9 format to be compatible with Google and other major search engines.
- Added ability to assign ordering to menu category display
- Fixed bug where thumbnail of product image 1 was shown instead of large version within modal popup Fixed bug when searching for products by manufacturer
Can now upload multiple images simultaneously to product image gallery.

D2 StoreFront v1.15 release for retail/source users

We are pleased to announce the release of v1.15 of D2 StoreFront for Retail and Source Code users. Changes in this version include:

- AJAX image galleries can now be created and associated with a product. This allows you to add multiple images to a product page and they will be displayed as a modal gallery popup.
- Search functionality rewritten to allow the customer to search using a range of parameters such as manufacturer,price,product rating and number of reviews.
- Layout of product description page changed to replace tabular layout with div's
- Big mail bug fixed where entering an invalid or inaccessible smtp server address could lead to repeated failed attempts to send the message until the browser was closed and fill the error log with failure messages.
- Several other bugfixes/performance enhancements.

As before, the new features are only available to users of the Retail & Source versions, the free version is not updatable beyond v1.12. A new version of the free version will however be released to fix the mail bug mentioned above.

D2 StoreFront - Full Source Code and Retail versions now available

We are happy to announce that v1.08 of D2 StoreFront is now available for purchase/free download.

There is now the option to purchase a retail version of D2 StoreFront that includes additional features not available in the free version.

There is also now a full source edition available which includes the full ASP.NET VB source project allowing you to alter, enhance and rebuild D2 StoreFront to your own requirements. The source project is compatible with Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and greater (including the free Visual Web Developer applications).

D2 StoreFront - Free Download!

A Beta build of the D2 StoreFront application is available for download free of charge for anyone who is interested in giving it a try.

To obtain the download simply add the beta product to your cart and proceed as if it were a normal sale. You will not be charged at final checkout and the beta package will become available in your 'My Downloads' area. Beta users will be notified when the final release becomes available.
