D2 Computing Ltd offer an installation service for our D2 StoreFront and D2 Sitelock products. An experienced developer will install and configure the product within your own hosting environment.
Please note, when ordering an installation, make sure your hosting environment meets the minimum requirements for the product. Both D2 StoreFront and D2 Sitelock require a WINDOWS server, Linux or Unix hosting packages are not suitable. For D2 StoreFront, make sure your hosts support the .NET Framework 2.0 or greater.
What happens when I book a D2 StoreFront/D2 Sitelock installation?
When you place an order for an installation, a form will be placed in your 'My Downloads' area. You need to fill in this form with your hosting details (FTP address, SQL address etc) and mail it to D2. Once this information has been received and checked we will send you an estimated installation time/date. Once you confirm this time is acceptable then the developer will perform the install and notify you when complete.
What do I get as part of the installation?
We will upload the latest build of the application to your hosting space, create, configure and connect the application to your chosen database format and set up email functionality. The core functionality of the application will then be checked as working correctly and you will be sent URL/login details to confirm the installation. You can then login to your working store and start adding products straight away!
What dont I get as part of the installation?
Any graphical or code customisation of the default application, the installation is just a plain install of the functional application. No setup and testing of payment options such as Paypal can be conducted. No alterations will be made under the installation agreement. We can of course perform customisations upon request for a fee decided on a per job basis.
Can I purchase an installation for the free versions of D2 StoreFront/D2 Sitelock?
No, sorry, we only offer this installation service to customers who have purchased a retail license for one of our products. Installation is NOT offered for the free versions.
How long will the installation take/how soon will it be completed?
We try to perform installations as soon after receiving an order and completed request form as possible. During busy times or due to workload there may be a delay before we can perform the installation. If this is the case, you will be notified and given the opportunity to cancel your order with a full refund. We generally aim to complete installation within 48 hours of the completed order.
What if my hosting package turns out to be unsuitable or you cannot perform the installation for any reason?
In this instance you will of course be refunded your installation fee in full. We ask however that you check your hosting environment meets the system requirements of the chosen application before placing an order.
